First of all, I am not a photographer of any kind but have always wanted to be since childhood. I grew up taking pictures with Polaroid cameras until I advanced to the film cameras and just took pictures and just got them developed, I purchased a Nikon D90 from a local pawn shop and fell in love with the way it took so many pictures with one touch of the shutter button. I asked the lady at the photo Lab in Sam`s Club if she would tutor me on photography but she said she didn`t know enough but gave me the number of someone who would. When I called him he said he only uses Nikon and he would do it. I have to come clean...I owned a Canon first. Still have it but don`t use it, and gonna sell it. I purchased my D7500, found a 17-55mm lens to work with, and photographed a baby shower for a friend on the 7th of July and the pictures came out beautiful. I am learning a lot on youtube and find that Nikon is very popular among a great majority of the photographers there. I have purchased some dvd`s on how to operate this wonderful piece of technology and plan to continue to take photos for friends and family and possibly make a little change on the side. I love both my cameras. Going deep sea fishing tomorrow, 7/ 28/18 and taking my D75000 with me. GREAT EQUIPMENT!!!! I highly recommend it.

I recently purchased the Nikon D7500 prior to an Alaskan Cruise. I previously had been using an old Canon Rebel X so was ready for an upgrade. After much research, each time I kept coming back to the Nikon D7500. It wasn´t the cheapest, but certainly wasn´t the most expensive. Some features that really impressed me where the # of focus points, the ability to capture video in HD and the low light ability and it didn´t disappoint. I am by no means a professional photographer and have a ways to go before I figure out all the functionality, I was able to point and shoot out of the box. The rest I have learned along the way.

Just moved up from the D7200 to the D7500 and couldn´t be happier. Incredible camera and I really like the tilt screen. Started with the D70 and have been with Nikon since with the D80,D90, D7000, D7200 and now the D7500. When you find the best stick with it. Headed for a road trip to National Parks from the Grand Canyon to Teton National Park. Looking forward to some great photography with my D7500.

4 out of 5 because I don´t like the idea of going down megapixels. If you own a very long range lens really don´t need those megapixels and you´re fine with the 8 frames continues shootings. But in case that you don´t invest in a expensive lens and use the regular 70-300mm VR and you need to shoot some birds that are far away you probably want to crop the photo to get the bird in frame and there´s is when this camera would let you down. If you have a big budget to spend in lenses, this camera is for you, if not go for the D5600, a little bit slower but great results with regular lenses

I do a lot of wildlife photography. The D7500 was a step up from the D5600 and I immediately improved the quality of my photos. Love the speed, love the sensitivity.

I have only had it a month and I can see that it will take a long time to really learn it well, but this is one of the things I love about it. It is (to me anyway) user-friendly and can be used immediately, but I also know there are tons of features that it has that I am going to love as I grow with this camera. It has many of the features that the D500 offers at a much more affordable price. I was going to buy the D7200, but in the end decided to spring for the extra 2 or 3 hundred (can´t remember exactly how much) and I am so happy that I did, I can see that this camera will take me much further.
I also love the teaching videos I get on Facebook from Nikon, some are basic but always seem to have a point or two that I can learn from, and some are very informative. Again, it all depends on what level we are at with our photography. I´ve been at it for over 40 years (wow) but still learning every day.

I am not going to go into deep detail on the attributes of this great camera. The main thing is it has everything I needed and then some. As a wildlife enthusiast this camera with the Nikkor 200/500mm lens I also bought does everything I want and the finished product it delivers is outstanding. I have had several Nikons over the last ten years but without a doubt this one is now my go to camera when I am in the field. I operate with it off auto most of the time but the adjustments can be made quickly and easy to fit every situation. The focus is quick and smooth and the details and sharpness of the shots is pristine. Yes I know some complain that it only has one SD card slot but that is why I carry extra cards. I had considered the D500 and almost pulled the trigger on it but this camera as many have said delivers for a considerable savings. For a person like myself who loves Wildlife Photography It gives me everything I wanted at a great price point and paired with the Nikkor 200/500mm it gives me outstanding results. Some of the results are shown below. I have no regrets on my decision to buy the D7500 because it is a winner.

Purchased my D7500 prior to our cruise on the Rhine as an up-grade to my D50. Absolutely thrilled with the purchase as I´ve been a Nikon fan for years. Purchased the 18-200 AF lens as my standard lens and it worked great for all the landscape and interior photos. Love the settings options (still learning) and ISO options provided great indoor photos in dark areas without the flash.
