Feature Rich and Full Frame Advantage
Posted by dlangaz on December 15, 2018
I decided to move up from a D90 and considered several of the Nikon DSLR models, finally deciding on the D750 due to the many feature and system improvements over what I currently had. I shoot a lot of real estate photos and needed to make sure my Tokina 11-16 lens was compatible. Fortunately, there are a lot of articles about using DX lenses with the FX system. Some of those are so technical they can be confusing. Once I got the D750 in my hands I was able to find the easy to use menu setting to adjust the camera to the lens. All of my lenses work great and the camera produces incredible photos. Whether you choose to use Active D Lighting or just bracket shots, the RAW images i get are so clear and sharp that I spend less time processing the finished photos. Love that I have two User Settings. The Scene Settings work nicely and the Effect Settings are fun to experiment with. The flip out screen really helps with the camera mounted on a tall tripod. If you plan to move up to a FX camera, you cannot go wrong with the D750 and suggest you include the MB-D16 Battery Pack for the increased battery life and the overall feel of a more balanced unit.

EXCELLENT Choice!
Posted by PhotoChris on December 3, 2018
First upgrade into full-frame from a D7100. Very seamless between the two in terms of menus, configuration, layout, etc., PLUS all the goodness of the full-frame sensor and upgraded sensor/CPU. Dynamic range is incredible, allowing incredible detail - especially in low-light situations (high SNR). Dual memory card slots are a HUGE bonus in the Nikon´s, as well as incredible battery life. With the optional battery grip, I can shoot for weeks without running out of juice or memory (I shoot a LOT of astrophotography which require thousands of shots in a single session). Have only had the camera for a month, so haven´t put it through all the paces yet, but so far - IMPRESSIVE!

Best Bang for Your Buck

Simply cannot imagine getting a better camera for the price. Just an amazing piece of technology and engineering at a moderate price. Is the D850 better, sure, but how much better?

If I Only Knew...
Posted by DrDrew on November 30, 2018
I´ve been using SLR cameras (Canons and Nikons) since 1980 and had more recently switched from Canon to Nikon APS-C cameras in search of a certain look in my images. I always wanted a full frame but never was able to take the financial plunge, but after recently purchasing my D750 I´m going WOW! For me, it´s low light capability is truly amazing and something I could never live without again. There´s that old argument about new-camera-envy and learning new/better ways to use what you already have, but having this camera really does improve my photography! I love it!

Two Are Better Than One
Posted by CHESSIEMIKE on November 30, 2018
As the title says, 2 are better than one. I was late coming into the digital age and made the move 1st with a D90. At times I am a slave to my old ways and always had 2 camera bodies with different lenses. After a bit I got another D90 and moved away from film. Fast forward almost 10 years and I decided to go full frame with my first D750. After running with the D90 and D750 combo for a few months I decided I would be better served moving up to 2 D750s. I have been very happy with the all around performance of the D750. It does great in low light and I do a fair amount of work after sun set. It handles mixed light well when balancing flash and existing light. When the sun is out, and no surprise, it does great as well. A D750 with the 24-70mm 1:2.8 and another D750 with the 70-200mm 1:2.8 and I am set for almost any photo my mind´s eye sees. If I had to have an improvement it would be a flash that had more power, along the lines of the SB-910 with out having to buy a flash with built in radio control that the D750 does not support.

D750 and 24-120mm Lens Is An Incredible Combination
Posted by jfwright1955 on November 26, 2018
I have been a photographer for over 40 years and shot with just about every make and model of camera over the years. I would have to say the D750 is the best of the best. Ergonomically it is very comfortable and every button and dial is positioned in locations I find very nature. I really appreciate being able to customize the buttons to assimilate the actions that make the most sense for the way I shoot. Pairing it with the 24-120mm lens was a no-brainer. It is a great all-purpose lens I leave on the camera most of the time for travel and landscape photography if I want to keep my gear to a minimum. I could not be happier with the purchase.

Fantastic upgrade
Posted by Aferman on November 25, 2018
I recently took advantage of the sale price and made the jump to the D750. I was using the D700 and D3 and wanted a better low light camera and I am blown away with the performance of the D750. I have shot at ISO 12,800 and the results are what I would expect at around ISO 1600 or a little less on the older bodies. As primarily a sports and family photographer, I love the WiFi ability to send images right to my phone straight out of the camera and share images. In daylight sports situations I will likely use my D3 because it´s faster frame rate, but I would highly recommend the D750
