    Upgrade after many years

Posted by WillHost on June 10, 2018

I purchased the d750 when I noticed there was a fuzz stuck on my censor of a 6 year old d7000. Now right when I opened the box and put my lens onto the d750 I felt that is was a better camera. I never shoot video and decided to see what it looked like.... beautiful! Next I went out and started snapping pictures of my friends and family and I was stunned at the difference in quality. As a non professional... it makes me look like I know what I am doing. (check out the instagram to see a non-professional self taught faux-tographer @frankie_beau_and_humans ... also nikon sorry for doing that)

I totally love this camera I don´t know why I waited 4 years to get it but I have it and I´m doing more creative things with it, I have only played with the video a little bit but it is nice. The tilting LCD screen on the back is wonderful to use, it´s a great low-light camera that fit all my needs

I went from a D3300 to a D750, Easy camera setup along with good build quality. Camera is great for any occasion depending which lens one chooses. I bought the FX 16 to 35 which I used taking great landscape Photos. I am very pleased with this DSLR.

    I really like this camera.

I´m not professional and there´s no way I´ll ever read the 550 page manual on this thing. Also, I´ve owned a D200 and D700, and have between 3 and four hundred thousand pix in my computers. So, using the D750 was pretty simple out of the box and I appreciate that. The few things that changed on the camera were easy enough to adapt to. Next, I don´t buy anything to set on a shelf. My cameras get ´´press corps ugly´´ pretty quickly. The 750 holds up! It is well sealed and above averagely shock resistant. I use it in dust, rain and snow and carry it climbing and skiing. I use it almost all of the time with the MB-D16 and have never run low on batteries. In the winter I sometimes carry the batteries in an inner pocket. It can hit minus 40 or colder here on occasion. The speed meets all my needs. I shoot a lot of high school sports and do not want or need a camera that shoots 12 or 14 frames per second. Shooting indoors, or outdoors in the evening, at ISO 3200 has given me excellent results. I also shoot a lot of wildlife and work projects in National Parks usually with a 24-70 f2.8 or 70-200 f2.8 and couldn´t be happier with the results. The NPS uses a lot of my pictures in their presentations. I did have a shutter problem, tho not on the recall list. I called and sent the camera back to Nikon. It was back in four days and works perfectly (from North Dakota to California and back). No charge! Overall, I couldn´t ask for much more camera (altho a D850 sure is tempting).

    Great Camera

Have both the D*!) and the D750. I use the D750 95% of the the time as it is so easy and I am very amateurish. Easy to use and understand.

    Best camera I´ve ever owned.

Posted by Photohacker on November 15, 2017

I upgraded from a D90 to the D750 because I wanted the full frame. Not only did I get the full frame but I got a camera that takes incredible pictures. The best feature for me is the pictures taken at low light. Just incredible. I love the double SD card slot so I can take pictures where the RAW goes to slot #1 and a JPEG goes to slot #2.

The only downside so far is that my SD card slot #1 ended up having bent pins. Not sure if it was a defect or caused by the card itself. Even though I am in warranty it is not covered. Estimate is $350 to fix. Did an internet search and found a lot of people had the same problem. Because of this I would recommend getting mini SD cards so you can slide the mini out of the holder to keep from using the card load/unload function. That should prevent the possibility of bent pins.

    Great Camera

I love this camera. It´s easy to navigate and is an upgrade from my D610. I have had it since January. The only thing I have noticed is that the shutter sticks every once in a while and my model is not on the recall list.
