Grrrrr not Great
Posted by NIKKORMAT on July 14, 2016
Love Nikon quality products and purchased based on WIFI compatible for transfer and storage. Spent hours trying to download Snapbridge, deleting and re installing not understanding why no linking. Trying all sorts of variations. I gave up and finally next day called Customer support and going through different avenues customer rep finally gave up. Said he did not understand why his guide was not matching camera´s visuals. He said he could not help with info he had up and passed me up the chain to a pro; after 5 minutes some one came on the line and said Nikon not compatible with iOS; WHAT???? ´´hoping´´ to get a new app soon, see issues with iCloud and I would not want to co-mingle my iOS photos with NIKON´s. THIS WOULD NOT BE GOOD. I know the camera is good but it is Wi-Fi and Cloud that would make this product unique and new.

Love the camera but for the love of god, please make a better manual.
CAN THIS CAMERA TAKE TIME LAPSE PICTURES?!?!?! I love the camera but I can not find instructions menus or reviews that show how they are done on the B500. Someone help this is the only reason I am not recommending this product. -

Where´s the IOS app for SnapBridge?
Posted by esqgerl on May 22, 2016
Great camera so far and the pictures are clear and vivid. The ONLY reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I literally spent half a day trying to figure out how to get SnapBridge; when that did not work, I tried the wireless utility app, Bluetooth and finally tried a tin can and a string. You would think that as part of the advertising scheme they would fully disclose to all IOS users that the app is not available yet. Then when the IOS user buys the camera, (1) they do not waste time trying to get wifi to work with the iPhone; (2) they are not disappointed in the lack of an app because they knew it before buying - based on assurances the app will premiere soon; and (3) they won´t leave 4 star reviews simply because they are irked because they pre-ordered not knowing there was no app yet for IOS. Makes perfect sense right? Must be a ´´marketing person´´ in charge at Nikon, calling all the shots, sitting in his corner office - all glass - sipping brandy. Nikon needs a ´´product person´´ like me calling all the shots! So if you want a great experience with this product, please see above, then buy.

Just learnings!
Posted by Ovrpmom on May 14, 2016
I just got my new camera on Friday. I am very excited to start plying with it next week but I am wondering where SnapBridge is for my iPhone and iPad. Are we close to a app for that? Looking forward to using the Bluetooth capabilities! I love the size, feel, and the fact it uses AA batteries.
