My new Coolpix B500
I just bought this camera and I love it! It is just exactly what I was looking for in a camera. The price was reasonable and affordable. I really like the color too. I am excited and ready to take pictures!

Great first step into the digital photo world!
Several years ago I sat my trusty 35MM Minolta SLR aside and resigned myself to the fact I could no longer afford to shoot with my beloved old friend. Film was getting hard to find and processing was becoming prohibitive. I knew NOTHING about digital photography. That was around 7-8 years ago...
In the Spring of 2017, I found a sale on the NIKON COOLPIX B500 at one of the Big Box Stores and it peaked my photography interest...again. SOO00oo, I started reading reviews, watching the You Tubes videos, and doing some serious research on it. About a month later I purchased one and I have SERIOUSLY fallen in love with this camera! I cannot say enough about how well this camera does! It has given me hours of pleasure in only a few short months and it has turned me back into an avid outdoor photographer once again. The zoom lens is EXCELLENT and for a ´´sixty-something low-tech, Redneck´´ I couldn´t be any happier with the picture quality and ease of operation of the entire system.

Great Camera just the right size, There are times when I don´t want to us my Nikon D7200 and the B500 fills the need
I really enjoy the camera but all of a sudden my wife loves using it. I am so glad that she is using the B500 instead of the IPhone for picture taking. The only down size is you have to carry extra batteries or buy the recharable battery unit and batteries...... why can´t Nikon use the same battery setup like that of the D7200 or my COOLPIX camera.....to charge the batteries all I do is plug the cord into the camera and then plug the other end into the usb port and I´m charging...

Awesome for beginners
I bought this camera for business purposes, to photograph my artwork. As a beginner in photography, it is an awesome camera. I´m still learning how to navigate the settings for the best pic. The only con is it freezes every now and then. I have to take the batteries out in order for it to do anything. Other than that, overall it is a really great camera. Love the apps that comes with it also.

Great camera, great price.
I bought this as a replacement for other COOLPIX camera I lost. I got this model in red. It takes beautiful photos and I can download them wirelessly to my phone and table. Sorry I lost my other camera, but I really love this B500 model!
