COOLPIX B500

Love this camera, easy to use. Can drop it in my purse to use when going out. Takes great telephotos and close ups. Now i don´t have to take my DSLR out all the time. Yay me!

I had been contemplating getting a new better camera for a long time and had been eyeing this one during that time... I was attracted to the look of it and the features, especially the incredible zoom, and it´s reasonable price. All of those expectations were met and them some. My wife and I like bird watching and this camera does a great job zooming in and grabbing them! I am enjoying it very much! Nice product!

The Nikon Coolpix B 500 is a great camera for those wanting something that is easy to use for both professional pictures and for simple ´point and shoot´ type photography. One of the things that is important to me is that a camera has the capability to switch from settings that are point and shoot to settings that are professional. This camera does that. It has a quality lens and focuses well. It is also easy to hold in my hand and I don´t feel like I am going to drop it due to lack of grip.
The flash is easy to use and it isn´t a heavy piece of equipment. Settings are fairly easy to set up as well.

Was looking for a camera to take recital pics to hand out since the photographer studio used only accepted paypal. I have taken awesome pics to hand out. Took on vacation and took great pic. My daughter thats 9 even enjoys using it. It has great features and does rrally well gor the price

I´ve been a Nikon user since 1967 (Nikon F) and have come to expect quality pictures from Nikon products. My needs were for a point-and-shoot camera that would be easier to hold still than an iPhone by a senior citizen with a slight tremor in the right hand. This camera worked flawlessly for me on a trip to the Mid-East. The wide angle/zoom lens on the camera was all i needed. Great camera for a casual user like me. Thanks!

I really like the Coolpix line, there are many features you might find in a DSLR, without the weight and cost of a DSLR. My previous cam was a Nikon Coolpix P510...it had been stolen so I replaced it with this B500, as the basic features were similar. I miss the optical viewfinder from the P-series, as bright sunlight tends to wash out the LCD screen, but I really like the bluetooth/wifi capabilities of the B500. And the optical zoom is just awesome!

This camera is very ideal for the first time adventurous. So far I have taken some wonderful pictures, including the fox looking for food in the snow. This camera has increased my potential and convinced me to take more pictures. However, I´m still very new at this and I´m still learning what button does what and why. I have a long ways to go and hopefully one day I will be able to upgrade to a higher quality camera.

It was affordable. We love the zoom in and wide angle ability of the camera. Just returned home from vacation with many memorable pictures thanks to this camera.
