great but need repair or replacement help
Posted by Fahrenz on December 5, 2022
Loved this product as far as optics, clarity, and ergonomics, go, but I at first found the diopter ring tigh,it did loosen but started to feel "gravely or sandy" and then the diopter ring broke, sticking at 18x

Protection objectifs Jumelles Nikon Aculon A211 10x50
Posted by JL on June 6, 2022
La protection des objectifs n'est pas fixée aux jumelles et il est impossible de trouver des protections de remplacement bien adaptées qui tiennent correctement. Même les protections d'origine sont introuvables.

Basic Binoculars with great performance
Posted by Bird watcher 25 on March 7, 2019
Yes These are not waterproof but, you get the biggest bang for your buck. It is a great all purpose binocular. They are better construction compared to many competitors asking for the same features. These are reliable and great lenses. They are brighter than my monarch but, when it comes to brightness they surpass the Steiner and Bushnell porro prism binoculars..

Perfect for satellite spotting
Posted by Maroochyman on October 2, 2018
I use the Aculon 10x50s in conjunction with a smartphone app to search for and spot satellites. Crisp images and a good field of view are a necessity and the Nikon ticks all the boxes. I too found the diopter a little tight at first but once "zeroed" it stays there so, for me, it's a plus.

Not waterproof, but astronomy in rain is never a concern, is it?
Posted by Ezra Two-Eyes on May 3, 2018
I am impressed with all the Aculons, and these are no exception. For inexpensive units they never fail to amaze me, it's true. The diopter ring is indeed rigid, but it may be a plus doing away with a locking mechanism. Optically nice, clear, crisp. Lack of waterproofing is a real drawback if you live in a humid environment, because mold/milder/fungus otherwise will be happy to feast on the interior lenses and prisms.

Aculon A221
Posted by hvitouse on November 15, 2014
I use these for both bird watching and my local area car and boat drag racing. The magnification and clarity are great for events that attend.

Good value, but diopter ring not Nikon quality
Posted by DB97 on June 1, 2014
Good value, comfortable, sturdy, bright, clear, sharp optics. As the previous reviewer mentioned, the diopter ring is much too difficult to turn, a surprising oversight for Nikon. Still, best value for the money.

Awesome Nikons!
Posted by Stargazer1 on December 13, 2013
For the price these Aculons are impossible to beat. They are not waterproof but I doubt I'll need them for astronomy in the rain anyway! Visually these Nikons are very crisp and bright and a huge step up from department store varieties. Well done Nikon!
