    Fantastic Lens

    The Nikon Z 400mm f2.8 tc vr s is one fantastic lens, it's light, blazing fast and silent AF, excellent image quality wise open at 400mm f2.8 or with a flick of a switch to a 560mm f4. I have been using the Nikon Z 400mm f2.8 tc vr s attached to the Nikon Z9.The only downside is no archa swiss tripod foot and no 90 degree clicks when rotating the collar attached to the lens.For a lens at this price point these two omissions should have been part of the final product.

    Fantastically sharp, fast super-telephoto. The built-in 1.4x teleconverter is excellent; it’s like having 2 lenses in 1: a 400mm f/2.8 and a 560mm f/4. I often use a TC-20 with this lens with no discernable loss in IQ. Balance is superb. Focus speed is amazing: the new Silky-Smooth Voice Coil technology is noticeably faster than SWM tech.
