Not without flows, but PRESTIGE IN PURE FORM!

Posted by Luis Joan Mirabal on December 29, 2025

This camera is the bes camera I have own in my entire life. In fact it should be a 4.8 stars review, due to minor inconvenients I have found on the design while using it. BUT REALLY, at this size and for that price, I have no business in complaining about anything at all. This camera exceeds. PROS: The whole camera. The concept behind it. I totally get it. Then the question to the get to the CONS.Why is this camera not a quarter of an inch deeper. It could have permited other system for the screen. I hate the screen is not tiltable up and down in its regular space. And also hate that when out to the side keeps hitting anything I have conected to the body with its ports. This is not for sure a camera for bloggers, primary, so I think this is the biggest flow. Second, the menus, wholy cow! Maybe in the future there could be an improvement on it. To have more buttons for the quick menus. among then one to activate or deactivate luts when shoting on red RAW NE. Also more viusally organized, perhaps. Finaly, better conection ports. Above all regarding the Micro HDMi. At least it could have been MINI HDMI. That's a little bit better, more robust. Now, all the cons I have about it, and as you can see I have some, are erased, when placing the materail this camera creates in a timeline and seeing the results out of it, when working in the most pro codec it has. CONGRATS!!! Nikon team.

Your quality of life will go way up.

Posted by Richard Liukis on December 27, 2025

The best camera I ever had. Video is out of this world and still images are 24 megapixel perfection. I did not think a camera can improve the quality of life this much.

    Really great so far

Posted by Thomas Scheller on December 25, 2025

This is my first cinema camera and most modern camera as I shoot mostly in 35mm on my F3. I bought an F-Z adapter and it’s been great being able to use all my Ai-s lenses. It’s a lot of fun using this camera for stills and short videos shot mostly in H.264 so far. I’m excited to learn how to use all the codecs and features this camera offers now and in the future with firmware updates.

It is a good starting point

Posted by Bruce Stenman on December 24, 2025

Excellent camera at the price. Documentation and guides are non-existent for those assembling a video rig with XLR mics, external V-mount battery, use with telephoto lens for wildlife, and rigs for use on a pro video head. Even with the Nikon MC-N10 what the user gets is incomplete for mounting to a cage or to a pan handle.

    Nikon ZR

Posted by Mothilal Rajesh on December 22, 2025

The Nikon ZR is honestly a fantastic camera — the colors, sharpness, and overall video quality are super duper good. I’m really impressed with how clean and vibrant the footage looks straight out of the camera. The only issue I’ve faced is overheating during long recordings when shooting at 3024×60, 30, or 24 fps. For continuous long takes, the camera tends to heat up and stop. However, if I record below 2160×30, I have zero issues — it runs smoothly without interruptions.Nikon really needs to address this overheating problem in an upcoming firmware update. Once that’s fixed, this camera will be an absolute beast.

Perfect along side the the Nikon Z9

Posted by Anthony Mitchell on December 20, 2025

The versatility of this camera honestly amazes me, this camera is what you make/want it to be. It can be as simple as a point of shoot or as complex as a film camera. It isn’t perfect, would love things like internal ND filters. But it’s perfect for what I need.
