    Loving the Nikon Z6iii

Posted by Lili A. Anel on July 1, 2026

In buying my Nikon Z6iii I am learning a new camera system (I’m coming from Lumix S5). Nikon is exemplary in providing information and making learning the ins-and-outs of the camera seamless. There is a lot of ground to cover but I will begin hooting photos and video in the next few days. Mostly I LOVE Nikon’s colors. My sister owns a Z8 and her photo’s colors are amazing. It’s what made me get a Nikon.

    Better than I expected

Posted by Kathryn Murray on June 29, 2026

Well, after waiting over a year for the Nikon z7III, I finally decided to buy the Z6III. I wish it was higher resolution. However, it is much, much better than I expected. I rented the Nikon Z7ii previously. While the picture quality was great, I was disappointed in the auto focus. Then I was down to the Nikon Z8 or the Nikon Z7. To me the deciding factor was size vs resolution. In the end, I decided on the size as the most important factor. Therefore, I bought the Nikon Z6III. I love it more than I expected. I am very glad that I decided not to wait for the Z7III any longer, especially, since it looks like it will never come out. I am very happy with my decision to buy the nikon Z6III.

    Great camera!

Posted by Joe S. Schmitt on June 27, 2026

This camera does everything it is advertised to do. I am extremely pleased. I am still discovering zits features as there is a bit of a learning curve coming from a DSLR. I highly recommend this camera. It is priced fairly for such a top quality camera.

    Nikon Girl

Most part it's been great but struggling to know how to do a group picture on atimer. My last Nikon was a digital Nikon 750 so I am a little lost! I like the size and now looking for a better lens and case because we travel quite often. Thus far I would give this a 9.8 out of 10.

Z6III is a great camera body for either your main camera or back up camera!

Posted by Rosie S. Sabaric on June 21, 2026

I bought the Z6III as my backup camera to the Z8, and I love it just as much as my Z8! I love how lightweight it is in my hand and how much battery life I get from it. I still need to try out some more of its functionality, but I couldn't be happier with it. I've been enjoying it, taking it out for my everyday camera when not at photo sessions. Highly recommend!

    Love this camera

Posted by RodneyP Puckett on June 19, 2026

I used another camera brand over the last 26 years and was very comfortable with their platform. I moved to their mirrorless platform a few years ago and was never really happy with what I was getting. I think it was more limitations of a crop sensor and high megapixels personally. I sold everything last year. This brings me to now. I missed the hobby and after months of research I picked the Z6 III with the 28-400mm kit lens as a do most carry around lens. This would allow me to take most of the pictures I want while staying in my budget until I can add more lenses. I absolutely love this combo, and even more so than I expected. I was a little hesitant about the super zooms but for what I am shooting about 90% of the time it is perfect. I do see the limitations of the lens in lower light but the versatility of the lens far outweighs the limitations. The camera itself is amazing. I love the color tones I am getting out of the camera. The pictures look amazing and true to life. I am still learning this camera after about a month with it. I will say some of the items I am looking for in the menus is not exactly clear or where I would expect them. A quick google search is all that is needed. Once I learn the camera this will be less of an issue I know. The other thing I will say is the tracking system is good. It is not quite as good as my past camera but it is a close second place. There was lots of talk about the dynamic range with this camera, but in real use I have not had an issue or even noticed it.Even with the limitations I mentioned I still give this Camera 5 stars. Every time I use it I say I love this camera. For the price with the features you get I do not think there is currently a better option.

Love this as my Z8 backup.

Like the consistency of menus to my Z8. Offers a low light, and smaller alternative with very little learning curve. Could not be happier.

Upgraded from D850. Great camera and value. Difficult to find anything to be critical about.
