    Nikon 6iii

Posted by Paul Moffett on February 24, 2025

I just started using the Nikon 6iii. My first experience was with Nikon Z 105mm M lens. Taking photos of orchids. The combination worked well and are very light. I also have a Z9 and would have to work hard to tell the difference.

Great camera with lots of options for stills and videos.

The camera performs great but as an oldster the complicated menus and settings took me a little time to get used to.

    Very happy with this upgrade!

Posted by Cathy Hertz on February 24, 2025

This was an upgrade to my D750 that I have loved for 6 years and I was nervous about the difference. However, after taking the time to really learn my manual settings on the D750, learning this Z was pretty easy. I'm sure that there is still a lot more for me explore, but so far I've been super impressed with the quality of the pictures and its ability to work with low light as there is so much versatility in the settings. I love the high shutter speeds and its ability to be almost completely silent. Using the CFexpress card spot is definitely a better option than the using the SD card when it comes to speed, but its nice to have a backup slot still. Though you definitely want an extra battery or two, I found the life lasted longer than I expected for the amount of shots I was taking of a stage production.

A Power Horse Beast of a Camera

Posted by Asuquo E. on February 24, 2025

The Nikon Z 6III is a fantastic run-and-gun video and photo camera. I've used it professionally for documentaries, events, and brand shoots. Its low-light performance is exceptional, especially the usable ISO 6400. Highly recommend!

    Great Camera!

Posted by Eric Silvi on February 24, 2025

Very nice, easy to carry, every day camera. I usually a Nikon Z 24-200 lens attached to the body. That combination makes it very handy. On a recent trip to Yellowstone I used it to make several hundred landscape photos without a problem.

    Great update!

Posted by John Lisonbee on February 24, 2025

This is a fantastic update to my Z6 I’ve been using for the last five years. I just photographed migrating snow geese and the photos look amazing! The auto focus really makes my photography work. I would definitely recommend this camera!

    Exceptional camera

Posted by Johannes Pfaff on February 24, 2025

I was very happy with my Z6II, only the low light focus was botherimg me a bit on event shoots, yet minor. Watching all this reviews made me a bit scared of the picture quality, so i rented one to rest the Z6III. Wow, the speed of the camera made it possible to make bird shots impossible with the Z6II. The low light ability of the Z6III is exceptional. So I bought the camera and started to love it even more when it was properly set up. The picture quality was never a problem and I assume some one getting the Z6III knows how to expose a photo.

    Sooooooo good!

Posted by Patrick De Ala on September 26, 2024

Been shooting weddings (photos and videos) and it performs sooo well!

    Photos:
Autofocus is great, locks on to human and animals eyes as it should. Not perfect but it's very very good. I highly recommend this for weddings photographers especially when you're someone who shoots nearly 4000 photos per wedding, the files sizes are like almost 30mb which is better than having to deal with 90mb files sizes from the D850 when shooting weddings! I've paired this with my f-mount lenses mostly with the classic 24-70mm f2.8G and it does an amazing job, you don't need the Z mount version unless you're heavy on the video aspect.

    Videos:
Amazing. that's all I can say. I've been shooting on H.265 10-bit with N-Log and thanks to the RED luts that we have for free, color grading has become an easy work, and with the 5.4K 60p, it's *chef's kiss*
