Everything I hoped it would be and then some! Fantastic hybrid camera. Pairs well with my Z7II for an excellent combination.

What a great camera! While I loved my Z6II and D780, the Z6iii is a definite upgrade!

    Wonderful Compliment to My Z8

Posted by Don Gutierrez on February 5, 2026

Since purchasing my Z8, I've been so impressed with the auto focus performance and image quality. I was curious about the Z6. I purchased a Z6 and I've been extremely happy with the auto focus, image quality and ergonomics. The Z6 is extremely fast and easy to handle. Moving back and forth between the two cameras is seamless and pleasing. I love both cameras, but the Z6 has something very special. It reminds me of my D750 ergonomically but with class leading features and technology. I'm extremely happy with Nikon's mirrorless cameras and lenses. I'm so proud and happy to be a Nikon photographer.

    Outstanding

Posted by Walter Rentschler on February 1, 2026

I haven’t owned a Nikon since the D600 DSLR I had (and loved) years ago. Wow, have things changed! Nikon has truly upped its game. I bought the Z6iii with an S-line 50mm f1.8 lens and have just been blown away by the photos. I shoot jpegs - nothing fancy - but they’re just astounding. I love the WiFi connectivity, too. So easy. The best I’ve used.

Built for Real Work, Not Spec Flex

Posted by Carlos Silva on February 1, 2026

Nikon Z6III is one of those cameras that lets you work without fighting the gear.I’ve used it on real shoots (clients, movement, mixed lighting) and it stays fast and consistent.Autofocus feels more “locked-in,” especially when people won’t stay still. The image looks clean and professional straight out of camera, without needing heavy rescue in post. For video, it delivers a solid, confident look for content and still has room for higher-end projects. This isn’t a spec-flex camera — it’s a get-it-done, deliver-on-time, get-paid camera. If you’re doing photo + video and you value efficiency with quality, it’s a strong move.

Z6 III and Z8 the perfect combo

Posted by Merrilee Fenner on January 27, 2026

I shoot with two cameras. I upgraded my second camera to a Z6III with my main camera as a Z8. I am super impressed with the Z6III. It keeps up with the action and it now feels like I bring the perfect mirrorless combo to every event.

    Great upgrade.

Posted by Kevin Freer on January 25, 2026

Upgraded to the Z6iii as my second camera body from my D750. I'm still getting used to the setting and the setup. But so far, I'm loving it.

Great camera! And great with manual focus lenses too!

Posted by Timothy Kahmann on January 23, 2026

Bought this camera as a backup to my z9 and it works perfectly! I mainly shoot wildlife and find the autofocus is fast and the color of Nikon files out of camera, is unmatched. I even use this Z6 III with manual focus lenses with no real performance degradation. I am of the opinion that this camera could stand alone and not as a backup. Great camera!

    Absolutely worth the upgrade

Posted by STEVE BURKHOLDER on January 22, 2026

I upgraded from a Z6 to the Z6iii. It pairs really nicely with my Z8. The button layout now mirrors the Z8. All around a great camera.
