    Great performance

Posted by Gregory Goodfellow on February 27, 2025

I like to carry two cameras when I go out. I have the Z9 & Z8 but they can be a little daunting to carry as I just turned 72. I don't always need the higher megapixels and enjoy having the smaller camera for taking with me when I don't have a planned shoot. Great performance and I really like the z6III.

Fantastic Camera But Lacks Folder Naming IMO

Posted by Chief Chief on February 26, 2025

I upgraded from the Z6ii and love the new Z6iii. There are so many options, it should satisfy near anyone. There is one criticism I have about the folders. I miss my old D70 in that respect. I could name folders with the first 5 letters of a location or whatever Ali want. I’d like to be able to rename folders instead of just a number. Otherwise, a fantastic camera.

    Wonderful

Posted by Glenn Cummings on February 26, 2025

I began my photographic journey back in the late 70's with a Nikon FE, which I still have. I explored different manufacturers such as Canon and Fujifilm as I ventured into digital as well as a Nikon D300.Once I decided to go mirrorless, I knew I wanted to stay with what I grew up with...Nikon. My biggest decision was to go with either the Z8 or Z6lll. Not really needing 45 megapixels, I went with the Z6lll.I absolutely love everything about this body with one exception...the flippy screen. Hopefully, I will get accustomed to this in time, however currently I wish they stuck with the screen utilized on the Z6ll.All in all, this body is a beast and 24 megapixels is more than enough for 90% of us.Great job Nikon!

Glad I traded up from a Z50 to Z6iii. Wanted a full frame camera and this one performs great!

    MY LITTLE BEAST

Posted by Demi Pita on February 26, 2025

I call it: my LITTLE BEAST! Love this piece of gear and art! Yes is art because deliver to me art 24 hours: from the first light of the morning to the next light of the morning. I use it for everything i love regarding photography: landscape, nightscapes and portraits. I purchased for backup for my z9 , but now both are always on my backpack everyday . Thank you so much NIKON!

A good camera for the price, but with a few flaws

Posted by John Uhlemann on February 25, 2025

Very accurate and bright view finder, good autofocus, and excellent videos. Otherwise it has a complex menu and there is no folder system that organizes photos by date. Also? The manual focus is cumbersome.

The long journey to the Z6 iii

Posted by Terry Darakis on February 25, 2025

I’ve been a Nikon shooter since the early 1970s and have enjoyed many of the top-of-the-line models that Nikon has created. Not one has been a disappointment. Same can be said about the Z6iii. It’s light and comfortable in the hand. Comfort is extremely important when it comes to long photo shoots. And the incredible speeds…wow! As I am now in my upper 70s I’ve come to find weight to be more of a consideration than it used to be. While the Z6iii has the form of a less capable smaller model I find nothing lacking it’s abilities. And of course, the optics in the Z form I find to be amazing. And the joy of being able to use my favorite earlier lens collection is very satisfying. We’ve come a long way together Nikon. Many thanks for the wonderful memories and the Z6iii.

Great backup for my Z8 and for street photography

Posted by Robert G on February 25, 2025

I have completed my testing and this is a great camera and works almost as good as my Z8. I do miss the sensor shield, but you can't have everything. Focus peaking and setting up one of the buttons to allow 100% EVF view makes manual focusing a breeze.

    Great camera!

Posted by Renee GIFFROY on February 25, 2025

I now have both the z6II and z6III and love them both. I like to shoot with 2 bodies so will likely upgrade my z6II to another z6III.
