    VERY SATISFIED

Posted by Raymond Raulerson on March 9, 2025

I upgraded to the Z6III from a D7500 about 2 weeks ago. I've been amazed at the technology advances. The autofocus is incredibly accurate even in low light. The menu system is very similar with many more options and features. My hit rate has increased exponentially in all genre. I added the 14-24 f2.8 S and the landscape photos have been exceptional. I'll be doing some milky way soon. I haven't tried the video yet but I will.

Excellent camera - no regrets with this purchase.

The is my 6th Nikon (including a 6II and a P1000). The camera auto exposure tends to be a little on over exposure side and I have some disagreement with the auto color rendering but those are easily resolved by simply moving to manual. However, my biggest disappointment is the increase in the physical size vs the 6II, which is perfect. Just returned from Scandinavia. The camera preformed perfectly even given the cold environment.

    Growing with technology

Posted by Daniel Errett on March 3, 2025

I enjoy capturing nature and wildlife and was very happy with my Z6ii and 500 PF, using tried and true old fashioned focusing methods, learned on my D500. The reason for the purchase of the Z6iii was to advance and grow with the new technology this new camera offers. It’s been a challenge trusting the lock on systems or deciding which of several choices to use under those moments when a rapid decision is needed to capture fast moving wildlife. This morning I found and photographed a Great Horned Owl, and reverted back to single point AF instead of using eye detect. (A KEEPER!) The camera is great, (and a little complicated), earning 4 stars, but this 3 star photographer needs to keep learning, trusting and practicing.

    The best cost-performance camera

Posted by Yoshiharu Wada on March 3, 2025

I like it!.I have owned two other cameras, a Z8 and a Z6ll, and I used to shoot moving objects with the Z8 and landscapes with the Z6ll, but these two cameras were stressful because they had completely different response and AF.I bought the Z6lll because it has Exped7.It is almost the same as the Z8 in what you can do with the settings, and it starts up quickly and responds very quickly.AF is also on the same level as Z8, no stress when using two cameras. Now, I use the Z8 for birding and the Z6lll for starry sky shooting. I also use different lenses depending on the lens attached.I think Nikon has a very good lineup these days with the Z50ll also having the same level of features as the flagship.

    Mostly love!

Posted by Marty McBride on March 1, 2025

I bought it for my nieces wedding in August, which was an early evening event. I was worried my D810 and Fuji X-T3 wouldn't pull it off. I was relying on subject and face detection and it did a great job, with one exception. My AF sensor randomly ends up in the same spot in the upper left corner of the screen. I can be using the camera, and pull it away from my face and then when I look through the viewfinder again, it's up in the corner. I'm not touching anything and my screen is not touch enabled. So I figured it for a bug that would be worked out in a firmware update. When Nikon released the update last week, I was disappointed to see it wasn't mentioned. I ran this past service shortly after buying the camera, but they didn't have an answer. This issue caused several out of focus shots because I was reacting quickly to the situations before I realized it and found it hiding up in the corner. Aggravating for sure, but other than that, it's a really nice camera with the most confident AF system I've had yet.

    I love Nikons!

Posted by Pat Misajet on February 28, 2025

I just love my Nikon Z6III, all the features are fantastic and my new Z 28-400 lens I bought with it is awesome. My photos are coming out so sharp and the camera is so easy to use. I just can't waiting for the Z 180-600 lens to go on sale for my next purchase.

    Great camera. I love it!

Posted by Christopher Sullivan on February 27, 2025

The focusing of this camera is incredible. Being a sports photographer is my primary reason for buying this camera. All I heard and read about its focusing ability is accurate. It finds the faces even when they are not the closest object to the camera and even if they are moving. What more can one ask for? I'm very pleased with this purchase, and upgrade from my Z6ii, which is a wonderful backup and second camera when I'm shooting a game with two lenses. I'm not a photographer that gets excited about technical specs. I just want performance and quality results. I got that in my Z6iii for a very nice price.

    Love it.

Got this to replace my z7ii as backup to my Z9. It has much of the features of the 9 that I rely on at much less cost. Love it.
