    Spot On

Posted by Lawrence D. on August 31, 2025

Coming from my beloved D5 to mirrorless, I was a little intimidated with all the new tech but was looking forward to the lighter gear. I haven’t been disappointed in the least. This is a great camera with fast autofocus and lots of customization options. 24 Meg is definitely a sweet spot for me. I shoot a little of everything; landscape, wildlife, birds, family, sports, action, architecture etc. this camera performs at pro level without a Pro level cost. Highly recommended.

    Great mirrorless camera for beginners

Posted by Swarnamoy G. on August 23, 2025

This is my first full frame mirrorless camera and currently using it with 50 mm f/1.8 S lens. The performance is much better than I expected and I would recommend this camera if you don’t wanna go for expensive Z8 or Z9.

    Love the focus improvements

Posted by Matt H on August 22, 2025

I upgraded from my Z6ii for the improved subject tracking and video features and I am happy I did. The camera’s focus performance is quite responsive and accurate which is most evident when shooting video. Focusing seems to be on par with the Z8 and fits my budget better. Great addition to my camera collection.

    Everything I expected!

    Posted by H D. on July 23, 2025

I am very familiar with Nikon mirror-less cameras. I have a Z7II for work and work with Z9s routinely. I considered a Z7II or Z8, but decided 24.5 MP was sufficient and I wanted the better low light capability. I have not done that much with my camera yet other than familiarizing myself with it. I am finding it to be a little more advanced than the Z7II. To me, it is more of a Z9/Z8 little brother than the Z7II (which I think is a phenomenal camera). The images I have taken are excellent and that's with all F-mount lenses. I will be getting some Z-mount glass in the future, but I have a pretty decent complement of F-mount lenses, so I am starting with those. So far, it's everything, and more, than I was expecting.

    Great Camera!

Posted by KENT S. on July 22, 2025

First MILC. I am enjoying using it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that, when compared to my DSLRs (D5600, D500, D750), it feels like a box of electronics whereas a DSLR feels like a proper machine.

My 1st mirrorless and still learning what the Z6iii can do!

Posted by Mike on July 19, 2025

This is my first mirrorless camera and I’m still learning what it can do. I’m still using my F-mount lenses including one from Tokina with a FTZII Adapter and they all worked great. I made sure all my lenses were compatible with the FTZII before mounting them on the camera. I can’t wait to see what the Z6iii can do with Z lenses. I did buy a how to book on the Z6iii and it explains the settings you need to know before taking your first shot. My D500 is a great camera but the Z6iii is shaping up to be so much more! There is one annoying thing about the design is the strap connector by the card slots gets in the way from the door fully opening up when you insert or remove the cards. But you just flip it out of the way and the access door opens fully.

    Totally surprised

Posted by Anonymous on July 15, 2025

Awesome camera, outperforms Canon RII hands down. I am still using old F lenses via FTZ II adapter but surprised to see outcome. I am sure Z lens will give another uplifting.. waiting to buy some Z lenses.

Extremely capable backup to my Z 8

Posted by David J. on July 10, 2025

Great all around camera! I bought the Z 6lll as a backup to the Z 8. Autofocus is terrific. Very capable. I mainly use it for landscapes, flowers, etc....great little brother to the Z 8.
