No Regrets
Posted by Gregg Starkel on July 23, 2022
I bought my Z7II about a year ago from Nikon refurbished as an upgrade to my D750. While it took me a little while to become familiar and comfortable with it, I have never regretted this decision as the camera does all that I need it to do and more. I take a wide variety of photos (landscape, portraits, wildlife, etc) and it has done everything I have asked of it and the image quality is amazing. I recently tried to use my D750 again and felt that I was really being held back as I am now so used to the features of the Z7II.

Great camera, Great images!
Posted by Peter Barney on July 22, 2022
As a landscape photographer primarily, this is the finest camera I've ever used. The file size and image quality are superb. There are many features that make longer exposures, HDR, and focus stacking much easier to accomplish than with my previous DSLRs. My F lenses work perfectly with the Z7ii and the FTZii adapter. The customizable features help me store setting when I do have a wildlife moment and am switching to a long lens. Manual focus with focus peaking is great for landscape work.I have been shooting continuously for 5 months and have nothing but positives for this camera!

Z7 II gives me great pictures, additions in new in body functions and it saved my valueable F lens collection.

I have been a long time(more than 40 years) Nikon Customer. I was beginning to worry about the amazing grow of brands like Sony setting mirror-less cameras and wondered what that would mean for my favorite Nikon lens and the replacement for my D5 and 850. The Z 7 answered that question. I have owned on since the introduction and used it very heavily. I have been adding Macro techniques and find that this little camera is wonderful. Pictures are amazing and I was able to use a F lens with the FTZ with great results and they were even better after I added the new 105 Lens. the camera has an amazing way of doing Stacking in side this little camera. It has been very successful at landscapes as well. I am going to buy a Z9 but won't sell the Z 7. It smaller form is very helpful for travel and the picture quality are wonderful using a collection of several new Z lens. The camera can successfully use my rather large collection of F lens using the FTZ.

Great Camera
Posted by Dshaun DuBois on July 22, 2022
Coming from the Nikon D850 this camera(z7ii) was perfect. It really needs another update because the focus tracking is just not there. Im still learning but I really do love this camera, definitely a game changer. I will probably get the Z9 when the price drops but I do enjoy my Z7ii.

Love the Camera with the exception of the low light issue that apparently can not be fixed

Outstanding picture quality

The Z 7ii produces outstanding picture with minimal effort. The extensive customization allows you to make the camara yours. The only complaint I have is the grip is a little small.

This lightweight contender delivers a knock-out punch to the competition
Posted by Charles Wallace on July 21, 2022
I have been in the Nikon family since 1975 when I got my Nikkormat camera. The Z7 was a great introduction to a wonderful new technology, so when Z7ii came out, I was an early purchaser. I love the light weight for hiking and the massive creative menu that it uses. I agree with others that the firmware updates are making it even better. I actually do not use face detection that often but is does a great job. Nikon showed real genius when it engineered a new body that allows the user to use literally all the older lenses. I also bought the Z9 - but I use my Z7ii actually more often because of the weight and less complicated menu.

As Expected!
Posted by Terry Allen on July 21, 2022
I traded up from a Z6II as a 7 was difficult to find at the time. Very pleased so far as expected. Has become my travel camera given it's size and weight, but still favor the larger size and heft of my D850 for a majority of work. The Z9 certainly falls into that area, but cannot envision plunking down $5K for similar Z7II performance. Nikon fan from my F2A days in the late 70's, which I stupidly sold years ago but recently purchased a excellent used one.
