Gorgeous, Well-Rounded Piece of Machinery.
Posted by Sasha Connolly on September 4, 2022
Great all around camera! Made the jump from dslr to this full frame mirrorless body and was not disappointed. The extra mega pixels have came in handy on more then one occasion, offering unlimited details. The noise is low, and its a great hand held shooter with its built in stabilization. Low light performance is incredible as well.

D850 v. Z 7II
Posted by Wilfried Taubert on September 1, 2022
I've been shooting with a pair of 850s since 2018, generally highly impressed with these instruments. To say I've been astonished at the jump in quality with the acquisition of the Z 7II would be an understatement. I can only attribute this to superior optical designs possible because of the flange-to-sensor distance, the larger diameter lens mount and the five-axis VR built in. I can't say I prefer the EVF, but the technology has finally matured to a level that it does not interfere with the Zen of shooting.

Quick response Outstanding outcome
Posted by Max Raul Egusquiza on September 1, 2022
I like it is fast, the outcome is noiseless with beautiful shadows fade. I have a feeling that the eye focus needs improvement specially at dark situations, comparing with the Z9 is so different.

Worth The Hype
Posted by Bobby Lopez on August 31, 2022
The Nikon 7ii is an amazing camera. The clarity and detail of the composition is outstanding. The ergonomics is also really good; it's the best part of the camera for me. If you are coming from a previous camera system, give yourself a week to adjust. If you don't know what Shutter speed, Aperture, or I.S.O is...then give yourself more time. Overall, it's worth the hype and the money.

Great Addition to My Gear
Posted by Robert Mack on August 28, 2022
I have not had the Z 7II very long but I am already feeling comfortable using it and the resulting files are amazing. I started my career as a photojournalist with a Nikon F in 1973 and every step in the progression to the current line of cameras has improved my situation. The camera and lenses are lightweight but appear to be very robust in their construction. The camera is easy to use and offers features that make the images a pleasure to work with. After 50-years of using Nikons I really appreciate being able to carry and use the Z 7II all day long without feeling like I am carrying too much gear.

Happy to move to mirrorless
Posted by John Patton on August 22, 2022
I bought my first Nikons in 1972 and have been using them ever since. The most recent have been D810 and D850. The Z-7II is the first mirrorless. While most of the controls are familiar there is a bit a learning curve for some of the new controls and menu items. All in all I am happy with the transition to mirrorless. I shoot a lot of micro and am hoping Nikon comes out with a Z 200 macro and extension tubes in the Z mount.

52 Years With Nikon and Looking for Another 52 years
Posted by George S Camacho on August 19, 2022
Excellent camera, with impressive resolution, quick and accurate autofocus and ease of operation. Whether using Nikon’s outstanding Z native lenses or the original F mount lenses, the Z7ii functions flawlessly. As a Nikon user for over 50 years, first with film using every camera from the F to the F6, then finally switching to the D850 (which I still use), the Z7ii was a generational change yet the camera remained familiar in the UX and UI experience. For me the decision to change, came down to IBIS and the outstanding photographic properties of the Z lenses. Downsides, the Z7ii is small and light weight. Having come from the Pro level SLR and DSLR experience, weight to me means stability. So my next addition to the Z7ii will be the MB-NZ11 Battery Grip. Things change over time and yet they remain the same.
