Good but can be great
The Nikon Z5 is a fast camera, good quality. I've honestly enjoyed it no matter the lens I have put on it. It does have a few flaws. One being its auto focus could definitely be better in my opinion, it does a lot of searching. Exposure and white balance do not match as shown on LCD screen while being outdoors. Over all this has been a good purchase.

Full frame, lighter, easy to use, with a USB cable to the Z5 I can charge the battery. Great camera !!
Exactly what I expected and more.I've been using Nikon cameras for over 30 years, my previous one being a D7500.I'm not a professional, but I enjoy taking photos of landscapes and family gatherings.I found the Z5 very easy to use; the controls follow the same logic as the D7500. With a 50mm 1.8 lens, I'm amazed by the brightness. I think switching from DX to full-frame format is the biggest step I've taken with this change.I'm recharging the battery by connecting a USB cable to the camera; it's a huge advantage for me; I don't have to travel with a battery charger.The Z5 is slightly lighter, and if I use the 24-50 zoom, the advantage in terms of weight and size is very significant.I highly recommend the Z5.

Excellent Performance
Amazing upgrade from D3300 to Z5, full frame, wi fi connection. Great pictures and exploring all the new menu. I am just starting to use it

Nice camera
First full frame & mirrorless camera. What a joy to use. Updated from D5600 which also is an excellent camera, and find the pictures are stunning was looking at a higher model in the range but found to have everything I need here.

More that a "beginners" camera ...
Nikon makes the best digital cameras and the Z5 is no exception. Nikon calls it a "beginners" camera. I am not a beginner and I feel the camera is much more than that. Quality build and fantastic photographs. Besides ... when did a $1,300 camera become a beginners camera? I appreciate the touch screen menu ... would have preferred a fully articulating screen. The Z5 screen simply "tilts". Make sure that you pair the camera with a full-frame, Z-mount lens to experience the full potential of the photographing experience.
