Very sharp lens really happy with it, seems to far exceed my old Sony GM.

Absolutely smashing lens for macro photography. Speechless… The detail on this lens is incredible and the build is robust. I’ll cherish this lens for many years to come and look forward to trying it on a flagship model one day. Currently, I’m using this lens as my everyday shooter on a Nikon z50ii. Both the lens and the camera body have been integral towards building my business and have brought me a lot of joy. Worth every penny in my eyes.

Nikkor Z MC 105 mm f2.8 VR S is comparable to my old Nikon 105mm that I used on my Nikon F2as for portraits and landscapes and even street photography. I like the build quality better than some other lenses. The Team at B&H Photo delivered it fast and was able to answer any questions as well.

Excellent lens. Super sharp. Nice bokeh on portraits. Perfect for portrait and macro photography on my Z8.

I’ve wanted the 105 for more than 5 years. Now that I’m using it it’s everything I hoped for and more. It’s so incredibly sharp and the bokeh is beautiful. I’ve read there’s a learning curve but so far it’s pretty easy to use.

The Nikkor Z MC 105 mm f2.8 lens is a fabulous macro lens. It has a bit of a learning curve for optimal use but delivers excellent results. I thought my old F-mount 55 mm Micro Nikkor was good but this one beats it hands down. An excellent photographic investment.

So jazzed with this new lens. The flexibility from tack sharp to dreamy imagery is outstanding. Colors render beautifully. It’s much faster in focusing than the previous f-mount too. I’m a little rusty at macro photography (it’s been a while) and this lens has inspired me to dive back in.
