    A great lense for my Z7

    I am amazed at how light these new mirrorless products are, yet still product super sharp results.

    I haven´t taken a ton of pictures with this yet, but so far so good.

    I´ve always loved 50mm lenses but this one is my favorite ever! Sharp from edge to edge and great autofocus. I highly recommend it!

    When I bought a Z6 camera I avoided the kit lenses and instead opted for the 50mm S series f/1.8 prime. This is a nice basic focal length. And the glass is fabulously sharp. I took it on a summertime vacation to Montreal Canada along with Nikon´s super sharp wide 20mm f/1.8 F mount prime. Low light performance, detail, contrast are the best I´ve seen. This lens was a pleasure to use. While the new S series F/2.8 zooms may make this lens obsolete for convenience sake, they won´t prove quite as fast or as artifact free,

    The Essential Nikkor-S Lens

    If you start with just one lens on your Z6 or Z7, this is a great choice. Fast focusing, quiet operating, and exceptional image quality. I´ve used dozens of 50mm lenses in my career, and this is by far the best I´ve ever used.

    I have been super pleased from the moment I received this lens. The images and video are super sharp even at lower stops and I have not yet had any issues with this lens. Highly recommend.

    Exceptional Lens!

    I´ve owned a number of different versions of the 50mm lens from Nikon, including a very early version that I used on my Nikon F2, and more recently the 50mm f/1.4D and then the 50mm f/1.4G. This lens is so sharp, and the colors it produces are amazing. I´m so pleased with the results every time I put this lens on my camera.
