wonderfully sharp, fun to use, and does a great job with distortion control for such a wide FF lens.

I've had this lens for about a year now. While expensive, it was worth every penny to ensure I capture edge-to-edge sharpness in all of my landscapes. Definitely a must have if you want your landscape shots to standout above the rest. Nikon knocked it out of the park with this one.

I just love this lens!! It is perfect for architecture, environmental portraits where you want to tell more of the story, close quarters where you just can’t back up any more, and fun “in your face photography “. A must have for my kit. If you see Wide then this is a great lens to have

I could immediately see the difference after doing a job with this lens on my Z8. It is sharp across the frame, controls flair beautifully and has rich, beautiful color. I also love how it is compact and lightweight and had a great feel when mounted to the Z8. I have used it for client work and the obvious improvements in handling flair and overall image quality make the investment worth it. No regrets.

As a long-time owner of the AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G, I am amazed with the Z-mount 14-24mm f/2.8 S. The corner-to-corner sharpness is amazing and a very noticeable improvement over the F-mount version. The weight decrease is most welcome. Kudos to Nikon for creating an outstanding wide-angle zoom.

Was extremely impressed by this lense. Took it to do some shooting in Peru, Machu Picchu. I used this lense almost exclusively. The colors are perfect, surprisingly light, S-Line professional build quality, and the dual lense hoods was great. I also bought a polarizing filter for the large hood. Highly recommend.

The lens has great clarity and fast auto focus, but I wish there was a way to assign a different control ring to manual focus, but that is not possible. The manual focus ring is at the end of the lens and hard to adjust on the fly. But even worse, when using this lens with a lens heater for Astrophotography, the focus ring gets covered with the heater band and can no longer be adjusted. Focusing before putting the heater on results in lost focus on half of the attempts. Taping the ring in place with Gaffer tape works somewhat, but is very hard to do in the dark.A software update would be nice, where the focus ring can be assigned to the other ring.
