    Love the D850...

    Posted by Dick on November 26, 2018

    I owned a D200 for years which I never took full advantage of. Bought the D850 with a 20mm 1.8f and 50mm 1.8f lens. I have used the 20 mm almost exclusively and love the combination. I have deliberately shot fast action, low light, regular, non-regular pictures. The camera is taking incredible pictures. I am really enjoying the extra investment to get this camera.

    Nikon D850, the best DSLR

    Posted by Goody850 on November 15, 2018

    I just got it on 10/20/2018 tried to take pictures last week. I am very impress with the result. I own D810, but D850 is above D810. I really satisfy with this camera and it is the best DSLR I have, I love it.

    Everything you need in one great camera

    Posted by Cameron on October 21, 2018

    This camera contains both video/audio and still photography in a lightweight, easy to use, quality camera. Being able to use one camera for an event was great. I was able to switch between getting video and stills with ease. I could even take pictures while in video mode, although the ratio is the ratio of the video and not your standard still shot. Getting the camera setup was a breeze. The touch interface makes getting around in the settings very easy. I am looking forward to many great years with the D850.

    Upgraded from D750

    Posted by Jotaele on October 21, 2018

    I had the D750 for about 3 years and many thousands of pictures, but I fell in love with the capabilities of the D850 and i traded up. No regrets so far. It is a true upgrade from the D750, not just cosmetic. Better ability to focus in low light situations, many more pixels to be able to crop your pictures as needed. Same lens mount so you can use all of your current lenses. No more losing the eyepiece as was the case with the D750. The design is similar to the D500 which I also own, so it is basically seamless to switch from one camera to the other as needed when shooting.

    Th D850 is the best camera I´ve ever owned!

    Posted by JiLi on October 16, 2018

    Absolutely fantastic camera in every way. It is like Nikon took all the complaints and feedback on the D750 and D810 and came up with the D850. Everything is perfectly where you want it. And the features like focus stacking and a highlighted-weighted feature which blows my mind. I was considering to spend my money on the new mirrorless Z7, but I´m glad I decided to get the D850 now, which of course I can use all my same lenses from my D750. Nikon really made the mark with this camera. Its definitely the pro camera I´ve been waiting for. Love it so much!

    Decisiveness = Confidence

    Posted by Hooch on October 5, 2018

    I´ve been shooting commercially for nearly 30 years. I´ve always bought the photo tools that allow me to work efficiently and confidently. Unreliable gear leads to inefficiency and distraction. After my 4x5 film days ended I transitioned to medium format digital then DSLR. SLR/DSLR has always been Nikon. No Nikon has ever gotten in my way and created concern. As each model was released I´d buy it. Started with the D2X, then D3, D800, D810 and currently the D850. The D850´s AF capability is much improved over the D810 so when I start to shoot I now virtually never worry about AF hit rate; I just hit the AF On button (I back button focus almost always) and shoot. The AF acquisition so decisive... frame after frame of client pleasing photos. I shoot tethered about 90% of the time and now I´m more confident than I´ve ever been that what the client sees will be as good as it gets. I can´t imagine a camera being better. Oh! Don´t forget image quality! Clients love the quality and file size. Too big? Never! Clients now require one photo to be cropped for many end uses; the D850 can handle it. We´ll see what Nikon comes up with next. Not sure how they´ll beat the D850.
