Great for Action Photos!
Posted by RetiredAndLovingIt on December 4, 2015
I have had my D750 for almost a year and love taking pictures with it. I upgraded from a D7000 which was slow to focus. Last month I took action shots of horse jumping and polo in Lexington KY and the pictures were crisp and sharp. Do use this as a high ISO camera. With the 24MP you can crop aggressively and still get sharp photos. The kit lens 24-120mm f4 is very good and my lens of choice when I am walking around. It is a bit bulky particularly with the kit lens but the photos are worth it!

The best Nikon I have owned to date.
Posted by ChefD on November 18, 2015
This camera is what I have been waiting for. I have been wanting to step up to Full Frame for years but just did not have the money. I came into some extra money and my dreams just came true. I cannot believe how awesome this camera is and I am just getting started. If you have the money don´t hesitate, buy this camera now. It is worth every dime you spend.

What a Dynamic Range!
Posted by Test on October 30, 2015
I am new to full frame and this was the right choice.
What I like Most:
- Amazing dynamic Range: When shooting RAW, you can push the highlights and the shadows and get a rendering very close to what the eye can see
- Ergonomics: For my medium hands, the grip is perfect, very secure and easy to hold one handed over long periods and light enough too!
- Fast continuous modes that marry perfectly with bracketing
- Easy access to most important functions on the body with several configurable buttons
Wish list:
- Level over both axis in the view finder for handheld architecture shots
- 8:10 and 1:1 crop modes
- Round view finder for better accessories
What I don´t like:
- 2 service advisories on my camera which means that I lost it for a month in total in the last year -

Architectural and Real Estate photographers dream
Posted by Anonymous on October 14, 2015
I bought a D750 for its advanced live view capability for photographing Architectural and Real Estate projects. Clients needed images for editorial and web sites and the 24 megapixel sensor in the D750 offers plenty of resolving power for these projects. The included photographs are from a real estate project done on the 2 worse days of the Summer. Hot, hazy and humid combined with a dark interior was the perfect test for the D750, the 24-120 f4 AF-S VR lens and utilizing a single SB910 flash. The goal was to minimize room distortion by using a 24mm lens and show how well the D750 with a single SB910 could handle the ´´harsh´´ lights in each room and balance the overall exposure to be pleasing to a prospective buyer. The images speak for themselves and the house was listed on a Friday morning and received an offer that afternoon. The photos were a big factor in that offer being made and the D750 w/24-120 lens combined with the SB910 were all it took to get the job done.

Great full-frame for the (serious hobby) photographer
Posted by sirhawkeye on September 6, 2015
Overall, this is a great camera (even though I returned mine after using it for a week--I decided to get the 810 instead for landscapes). Regardless, read around on the Internet. This is a great camera for most things: portraits, landscapes (although the D800-series is a tad bit better for this because of extra detail), sports/action and low light/high ISO. I will say that I think (from what I read) this beats the D810 in most low-light conditions. My only issue with the D750 is that it has the OLPF filter in place (which is not removable) so you will get less moire and false color, but at the expense of extreme detail (it can still happen, but is much less likely to with the filter in place). For most people (especially hobbyists) this is not going to be a problem until you start printing really large prints, like 20x16 or bigger. STill, has a full ´´Auto´´ mode making it a good camera for those who are maybe hobbyist photographers looking for someone to ´´grow into´´ and use for several years. But it also supports many features of the high-end cameras like the D800-series.My other concern is the flip-out screen. Some has complained that it can cause problems because the ribbon cable (that´s another reason I went with a D810--I wanted a stationary screen and not to have to worry about a ribbon cable coming lose/breaking over time from use). But overall, a good camera (many Pros even use this camera). Skip the D610 and get this if your budget is $3000 or less.
I did A LOT of research and went back and forth between this and the D810, but ultimately, for me, it came down to high detail without compromise. If only it didn´t have the OLPF, I would have kept it because it worked for everything else I did (except for the 1/4000s shutter speed with fast lenses requires a workaround sometimes). I don´t need the 36MP the 810 has and liked the dual SD card slots the D750 has (the D810 has a CF and SD card slot, OK but not my first choice as CF cards are slowly becoming extinct, at least in the computing industry). Maybe they´ll come out with a 750E without the OLPF like they did with the D800 (hint hint, Nikon...)
Either way, you really can´t go wrong with this camera. Easy enough to use for beginners/intermediates to use (those who are fairly new to DSLRs but have a working knowledge of photography) but powerful enough for serious hobby photographers or even professionals. -

30 Mississippi...
Posted by HonestReview on July 14, 2015
Mississippi...say it out loud. Now repeat that 30 times. That´s what´s how long you will need if you like to set up the wifi on this camera.
This review is from my first hand experience using the D750 for about 10 months now. For the most part its pretty darn good. Potential buyers can search for countless of reviews online and read for themselves. There is no denial the quality is good.
But for the price...this is a $2,000 camera!
There is one thing that bugged me from day 1. Something that I personally believe has been neglected for far too long; and that is the WIFI user experience is horrendous!
Basically, this will make you look like an idiot trying to fiddle with the phone and camera while it tries to connect with each other.
I purchased this camera as a potential primary for travel and leisure. The pictures I take are dark/night, long exposure, bracket and of myself while traveling; something that requires a steady tripod and minimal physical contact with the camera. You would imagine the wifi app, linking the camera to your smart phone will do the job.
Believe me it does NOT, otherwise I would not waste my time writing this review.
The main issues are (D750 w/Samsung Galaxy S5 and S6):
1- You will need to MANUALLY turn on wifi in camera setting to connect EACH AND EVERY TIME.
Camera/Phone does not auto connect.
Camera does not save the settings.
2-Slow to connect, if it even connect. Remember your are holding a camera in one hand and Smartphone on the other, even then, it fails to connect.
3-BIGGGGGGEST ISSUE...in the frequent event that the app does not connect to the camera (I stress frequent), you will need to restart your phone! Thats right, you cannot turn of the APP, even if you run task master on your android. For some reason, it becomes a zombie app, and continuing to run in the background, although you already killed it.
I so bad I just reverted back to the old fashion timer.
Again: $2000㘩 (should) = Just Freakin WORK! -

Outstanding camera for a great price!
Posted by NikonEnthusiast on July 13, 2015
I wanted to upgrade from a D7000 to a full frame camera. I was planning to purchase the D810 but after reading and comparing reviews, I opted for the D750. I bought the camera and took it with me on a European trip across 7 countries. The D750 performed incredibly. Amazing low light capabilities, very quick focus, and the photos were incredibly clear. I had two reserve batteries, but the long battery life allowed taking numerous photos on day long trips without having to change batteries. The camera was not too heavy, I carried it around on the Bernina Express and while traipsing up and down the Acropolis with no problem (and I am petite size!). Very comfortable grip, and the flip screen came in handy for taking pictures at unusual angles. Took over 4000 pictures on this trip! Easy to switch from taking photos to recording videos. This camera will be with me for a long time!!

Built like a tank!
Posted by MSPhotography on May 16, 2015
I LOVE my D750! I´ve only had it for about a month but as life would have it, the poor thing has already seen some busy and rough days. Two days after receiving it, my daughter knocked it off of the tabletop with my 70-200 lens attached. I knew that it would be destroyed .. BUT IT WASN´T! No change at all ....it still worked amazing.... last weekend, while photographing a wedding, I was jumping down from a bar stool where I had been standing to get a shot I wanted..someone let go of my stool and it turned and me and the camera went flying. There was much concern, (as well as me being very embarrassed) but my concern was only about my camera which I had fallen on top of... it still works like a charm! Thank you Nikon for making a quality product!
