BEST Lens.
Posted by Nica on May 22, 2016
This is my favorite lens. Once I got it, I couldn´t stop using it. The pictures come out extremely sharp. Everyone wants me to take pictures of them now that I have this lens because it´s THAT good. It´s a steal for the price it´s at.

Wow!
Posted by JamesVitielloDotCom on April 29, 2016
A friend of mine let me test his first, then I rushed to go get myself one. Best lens I ever bought in the 20 years of my photography career. Ive been using Tamron and Sigma for years, now I regret it. Tack sharp for portraits. Bokeh is beautiful. Now I am selling my Tamron and Sigma lenses.

Excellent is low lights
Posted by Sahan on April 10, 2016
Very good performance in low light with no distortions
But there are some chromatic aberrations near by highlights, but it is not too high
As overall this is very good for portrait photography and low light photography and for landscapes also... -

Nikon´s best kept secret
Posted by Nikon Mike on April 1, 2016
I have used this lens on a D610 and D7100 for about a year, and what can I say that has not been said ...... super sharp ...super fast .... light weight..... and a really good price. Nikon´s best kept secret !!! PLUS it works great on a DX body. I highly recommend this lens.

Amazing photos
Posted by Maskedskunk on March 1, 2016
A major upgrade to my previous lens, the starter lens of the Nikon D3200. The focus is much more intense and better. The f/1.8 allows me to place my shutter speed higher. It´s just overall amazing and better.

Amazing Lens
Posted by Misscomp on January 3, 2016
I bought this lens for portrait photography of my family. I used it on a recent shoot with my Nikon d3200. I was able to take some amazing group portraits at f8. I used a strobe for my light source. I was indoors. The detail that you see with this lens is amazing. Clearly superior to the kit lens. I think you have to shoot at at least at f5.6 to bring out the full potential of the lens. I have not tried it at the more open apertures. Best bang for the buck. The limitations are that it has no zoom and no image stabilization so has to stay on the tripod. But if you can live with these limitations you will have crazy good pictures for only 220 dollars. It focuses fast and is silent. If you like to take pictures of people this is the lens to get on a budget.

My Favorite Lens
Posted by BartelPhotography on November 15, 2015
I am by no means a professional at what I do, but I can tell you that this lens is phenomenal. I participate in yearbook at my high school where we have 15 different cameras with tons of different lenses and this is the only one I will use. In fact, I just bought a D3300 for myself this last week and made sure to pick up the nifty fifty 1.8G with it. Absolutely love it!! Prime Lens, Prime Quality
Posted by FT90 on September 28, 2015
I purchased this lens for the second after the first was stolen and I realized the magic of photography is properly back with it, again. Currently I am using this with the D7200 and the results are amazing. It´s a stunning lens and is a must have for every photographer !
