AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

When I bought this lens I thought it was VR. But shooting with it I realized the its more more than the ones with VR. I think it´s too sharp a lens. This lens with my D700 make it perfect. A brother to this lens is the 70-200mm 2.8

This is my go to lens. It does everything, from creamy bokeh to sharp as a tack images.

I made the switch from DX to FX camera and purchased this lens. This is the ´´must have´´ lens. Super clear and crisp. It takes beautiful pictures with detail and sharpness like you have never seen. If there is a negative it is the size and weight, but for me the results are well worth these minor issues.

This is the lens I use at least 50$ of the time for my weddings. No other zoom lens I´ve ever used comes can beat it (although the 70-200 comes close). The lens is also extremely well built. I used the 28-70 for about ten years. Two years ago I dropped it. I had it repaired, but it was never the same. I had seen many good reviews for the 24-70 so I purchased one. The reviews were dead on!. This lens is sharp, fast, and color contracts is excellent.

Hands down, this is the best lens I have. It has great optics with minimal distortions throughout the range. The images are always bright, and it´s fast and responsive. It´s on my camera more than 80% of the time. What more could I want. Well, it weighs a ton, but it´s worth it. I wouldn´t trade this lens for any other in the bunch.

I really like my 24-70mm 2.8 zoom lens a lot. It´s very sharp and fast enough in most situations. It may seem a bit big at first, but is so well balanced on my D3 that it seems perfect on that camera. The only reason I didn´t rate it 5 stars is that I wish it had a little bit longer range, say 24-125mm. That would cover a lot of my work without having to change lenses, however it is the perfect companion to the 14-24 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 lenses.
