    I use this for real estate photo and video. I am coming from the 14-30mm f4 and this lens is so much better. The only issue I have seen is during video, the autofocus hunts a little. To the normal person, they probably wouldn't notice. I would highly recommend this lens to anyone that needs a wide angle zoom for interior and exterior shoots.

    My new night sky rig.

    I have been using the older lens on a D850. I traded for a lighter camera ( Z 7 II ) because my wife did not like the weight of the camera and lens options. It kept her from using the camera by herself.The new Z 14-24mm f2.8 S is so much lighter and now I can put a UV protection filter or night sky filter on it. I took some night pictures with it this week, clear skies and no moon. Definitely an improvement in image quality plus I can check the focus using the LED window on the lens. No more flashlight!

    Got this lens on a recommendation from a friend. I will be using it to record the northern lights when I visit Iceland in Feb. Looking forward to using this lens.

    I absolutely love this lens. Fantastic to use, comfortable in size and weight. Perfect for wide vistas and astrophotography.

    Amazing lens- nearly perfect. The larger hood that can accept screw in filters is brilliant. If Nikon would make a rear cap for that lens when it is off the camera it would be perfect. This way, the large filters could be left on the hood and stored safely in the bag. Other than that I have zero criticisms of this lens. It was perfect for my Iceland trip.

    Needle sharp, minimal distortion, great for architectural shots in the narrow streets of San Juan, Charleston or London. This is an outstanding lens. The only quibbles are the price and availability of 112mm round filters and the enormity of the lens hood needed to use them. Not cheap but a great value for this pro-grade lens.
