Amazing lens! It is sharper than my primes in the same focal length range. Color rendering is superb. I have some excellent glass, but this one is at the top.

Amazingly Sharp Wide Angle Zoom
One of the sharpest lenses I own. It is sharper than most of the prime lenses I have. The f/2.8 aperture allows very good low light shots. It's optical quality is so good that I rarely use my wide angle primes.

This is a great lens
This is not a general purpose lens which is why i got it. Images are super sharp. The large diameter on this lens along with the very wide angle of coverage is great for capturing some great images that would otherwise have required stitching together multiple shots. The lens hood with filter threads is a great little added feature.I have a bunch of shots that need finishing but the attached should give a good ieda of what can be done.
