    This is a trade-up from my D 7100

I can’t understand why the second card slot was eliminated. The selling feature was the built-in flash.

    D7500 great budget friendly upgrade

Posted by Thomas Alexander on August 27, 2023

In the 80’s I used a Minolta XD370 Film camera… and after much hinting my wife got me a D60 Nikon Kit earlier 2000! Still love my D60 but wanted something upgraded and budget friendly. In comes te D7500 and I paired it with a Nikkor 10-24 lens. I already had a 18-55/55-200 from D60 kit. Anyway- the 7500 has been great! Still learning but having fun doing so! No regrets

One of the greatest APS-C cameras ever

Posted by Andrew G on March 6, 2023

I was so happy to get this in 2020, and there's no looking back. An excellent enthusiast all-rounder with an improved (deeper) grip, much better internals, and a great sensor. Some things to know: 1) The camera does not have the ability to assign depth-of-field preview to any button, unlike the D500 and all previous D7x00 cameras, and 2) the body has consumer-style linear lugs, not those little circular ones. These ones dig into my right hand and I don't like how that feels. Otherwise, this camea is exactly what you'd expect coming from a D7x00 series camera (or a competing one from Canon) but better. It's been a wonderful companion these past two+ years.

    Great camera

Posted by Arokia Rajasekar Kumardhas on January 17, 2023

It’s a Masked D5. It takes great photos and videos. It ages well so you can keep it for next 5 years. So it’s lifecycle is 10 years.

Best Bang For Your Buck Nikon DX camera

Posted by Tom Peterson on May 8, 2022

I have now owned my D7500 for 5 years and I have to say I think this is a really great camera. The camera itself has a lot of functionality that you would find in a higher tier FX style camera like bracketing, dedicated ISO button, dedicated auto-focus adjustment button, 51 point autofocus, dedicated screen on top for all exposure information. It is also a huge step up in ISO range from an entry level DSLR. I really don't have anything bad to say about it other than it is limited by the fact that it is a DX camera. It does suffer from some lens diffraction at smaller apertures but if you figure out what the limits of the camera are you can work around this. This camera has really been the jumping point for me to the next level of photography. If you think you may buy an FX camera some day and you are looking to upgrade from an entry level DSLR but not quite ready to make the jump to FX this is absolutely the best choice in my opinion.

ISO mattered at Spot-meter- while capturing a Star at Night

Posted by Rajnish on September 28, 2021

My first Nikon body was F801 ( July 1998 ) and I had to live with its dead (preserved ) body all this while so I was casual and cautious of investing in the next Nikon , D 7500 ( bought this September 2021 ) . Being ,otherwise supposedly near perfectionist , but in photographic pursuits somewhat more fussy about capturing over the details . D7500 was revealing what ISO 51200 means with Nikon AF and AF-S lenses alike .on instinctive hand held shots as well .

    Amazing Wildlife Shooter

Posted by Matthew on September 15, 2021

Amazing wildlife shooter. After 100k shutter clicks it's still shooting perfect. Bought as nikon refurbished and never had an issue. Pair it with the 300mm afs f4(non pf) and it's amazing at capturing wildlife and birds. Also great landscapes with a sharp lens in front of it. I sell lots of prints that are taken with this camera. Full frame has its purpose(and I own them as well) but this thing can absolutely be used as a "pro" camera.

    Love my new Nikon D7500!

    Posted by Jen896 on May 4, 2020

I have owned cameras for many years but always purchased Fuji or Olympus and decided it was time to see why everyone loved a Nikon camera. I also have a small business and wanted to update my photography for small item product shots. I love my new camera! This camera is very easy to use and takes excellent photos. I also love nature photography and enjoy shooting wildlife. My favorite reason for using my new camera is to photograph my precious family members. The Nikon D7500 does an excellent job in all areas. I´m thrilled with my new camera. I´m so excited that I tried Nikon! I have only owned it a month. I can´t wait to see all of the precious memories I capture with this camera.
