    Photo Student Review

Posted by Adrianna Stephens on January 12, 2024

I am a photography student, and this is the camera the school provided me with. I will say that for what i have used it for came out amazing. I use to have to switch to different lenses to get far out pictures for football and stuff but the one lends takes care of all of it.

    This is a trade-up from my D 7100

I can’t understand why the second card slot was eliminated. The selling feature was the built-in flash.

    Nikon D7500 fan

Posted by John Stein on November 10, 2023

I have been a Nikon user for several years and own several of their previous models before purchasing the D7500. In my opinion it's one of the best DSLR cameras out there. I've had mine now for several years and found it to be extremely versatile, easy to use, and produced excellent photographs. It resulted in photos that were far above my ability as a photographer. I recently experienced an unfortunate incident between my camera and the Pacific Ocean. Although I managed to retrieve it, it was damaged beyond repair. I seriously considered replacing it with one of the newer mirrorless Nikon cameras and move into the latest photography trends. However, having enjoyed the D7500 so much that I ultimately opted to replace it with another D7500 which should give you an idea of how pleased I was with this models performance. My transition to a Nikon mirrorless will wait a few years. Until then I expect the D7500 to continue to meet my highest expectations for producing exceptionally clear and vibrant results. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone regardless of the type of photography that you shoot.

    D7500 great budget friendly upgrade

Posted by Thomas Alexander on August 27, 2023

In the 80’s I used a Minolta XD370 Film camera… and after much hinting my wife got me a D60 Nikon Kit earlier 2000! Still love my D60 but wanted something upgraded and budget friendly. In comes te D7500 and I paired it with a Nikkor 10-24 lens. I already had a 18-55/55-200 from D60 kit. Anyway- the 7500 has been great! Still learning but having fun doing so! No regrets

One of the greatest APS-C cameras ever

Posted by Andrew G on March 6, 2023

I was so happy to get this in 2020, and there's no looking back. An excellent enthusiast all-rounder with an improved (deeper) grip, much better internals, and a great sensor. Some things to know: 1) The camera does not have the ability to assign depth-of-field preview to any button, unlike the D500 and all previous D7x00 cameras, and 2) the body has consumer-style linear lugs, not those little circular ones. These ones dig into my right hand and I don't like how that feels. Otherwise, this camea is exactly what you'd expect coming from a D7x00 series camera (or a competing one from Canon) but better. It's been a wonderful companion these past two+ years.

    Great camera

It’s a Masked D5. It takes great photos and videos. It ages well so you can keep it for next 5 years. So it’s lifecycle is 10 years.
