    A great camera body.

Posted by Jeffery Morgan on May 21, 2022

I bought the D750 just before it was discontinued. It was great deal and had the built in flash unlike the D780. This is a definitely a step up from my old, but competent D70. I have a lot of old NIKKOR glass including the AF NIKKOR 28mm f/1.4E ED and the 200-400 zoom VR lens. On the short side I have the 16mm fish eye. For macro I have the 70-180mm f4.5-5.6 D, the 60mm non D, the 105D, and the venerable 200mm f4.

It stands the test of time!

I’ve had this camera for over 5 years. It is great for wildlife and bird photography. I’ve also used it at an air show. It is a work horse. It has gone to Africa several times so it has been tested there also. I now use it in conjunction with my D810 and Z7.

    D750 Twins

Posted by John Mauser on June 9, 2021

I bought a new D750 body as an upgrade from a D7200. The low light performance and movie capabilities amazed me. I bought a second D750 and upgraded my kit with a few new full frame (FX) lenses. Twin cameras?? Doesn't matter which one I pick up on a shoot, only the lens is different and the shoot is fluid, be it a tight head shot with an 85mm lens or a 200mm step back shot for perspective and blurred background. Whose got your back?? Nikon! My second D750 was purchased used and I found it was under recall for a shutter issue (that I never experienced). I sent it in for the recall, got it back in under 12 days. Nikon's products and support earn my highest respect. Yes, twin D850's or Z7 II's are in my future.

A great camera for still photography

Posted by Alneu Lopes on April 3, 2021

The D750 has fantastic image quality, an ideal file size if you don’t need very large format prints, a very good focusing system for photography, a dynamic range among the best, great ergonomics and excellent size and weight if you have to use the camera for a long time. In short, an excellent camera for still photography.

Versatile camera with an amazing factory lens

Posted by Parsimony on May 16, 2020

I bought this camera years ago when I was a beginner. It provided me with a lot of features that I had yet to learn about, but after shooting for a while, I truly understood the power of the camera and its versatility. I have been able to shoot low light photos such as astrophotography, portraits, action, graduation among others with this camera and the factory lens. The pictures are always sharp and easy to edit due to a pretty picture resolution. Autofocus can be tricky at times, but with some practice, you can get a hang of it and shoot sharp and in focus photos mindlessly. The only problem I have had is the Nikon app which is glitchy and often unable to download RAW photos from the camera.

    So glad I upgraded!

    Posted by NikonHobbyist73 on May 6, 2020

The D750 was a big want for me and when I got it on sale (due to the D780 coming to market) I was able to snatch one up and I am SO glad I went for it. I´m an amateur hobbyist, love taking photos of all things nature as well as portraits. This camera was a huge step up for me and the main reason I wanted it was for low light photos and the photos I have taken are crisp and with less noise compared to my previous crop sensor. I still have so much to learn about this camera´s functions, but I´m having a blast with it and it was worth the wait. Now onward and upward for lens upgrades for the body.

    Phenomenal

Posted by SaporitoPhotography on March 2, 2020

I am so glad I purchased this. I shoot a lot of landscape and aviation - with some portraits as well. The quality of the images is astounding. The resolution is so fine that print quality does not suffer after severe cropping. Love this camera - and I do not shoot videos so I really have no need for the D780. This is my third Nikon - I also have a D3200 and D7200.

Purchased to take evening pictures of my daughter's high school band.

I'm a total noob but really like the camera. The phone app is really nice for remote shudder release. Night vision on foggy nights have produced some eerie/very cool pictures. Having a ton of fun learning the ins and outs of photography on my D750.
