Used in my Nikon D3500 with good results

    Posted by GatorFlash1 on October 3, 2019

I used this battery for two weeks during a trip to Ireland. It was used indoors and outdoors, all kinds of shots including those with flash. I didn´t have any problems with it. Took over 1,000 photos. I recharged it about every two to three days, not because it didn´t have a charge but because I didn´t want to push it.

Charging was easy and fast with the Nikon charger.

    Pouvoir de charge

Posted by Serge on December 28, 2016

Après 150 prises de photos sans flash, la batterie était complètement déchargée. Le pouvoir est très limité, c´est très décevant

    Battery drains quickly

Posted by phyllis on December 26, 2015

Battery drains in under 100 snaps without a flash in fair weather. In cold weather stops working within minutes of being outside. Nikon needs to fix this problem.

    DEFECTIVE BATTERY?

    Posted by makarov9 on August 16, 2015

i´ve only had my camera D5500 for 1 week now and the battery(new) only holds charge for about 120-140 shots!.. and only using flash about 20-25 times.... Battery was fully charged twice and this keeps happening.. will call Nikon and see if they can help.

    Works well in Df.

Posted by Anonymous on April 15, 2014

It does work well in the Df, which I speculate was the reason for a version of this battery with just a bit more ´´juice´´. I can´t say I am thrilled about the charger, which only works in a wall receptacle (no cord option like my other Nikon chargers) but I do not fault the battery design for that. It is an efficient battery, not a lot larger than that in my Fuji x20 PandS but yet powers a much more complicated camera for quite a long time.

My only complaint, if this can really be counted as such, is that it does not last long in cold weather. I only got an hour of use out of one battery during night exposures in 10-20 degree (F) weather. I was scared to death that it was going to die during the noise reduction routine on the last image.
