A great upgrade from another Nikon product

    Posted by Flyboy1946 on December 3, 2019

I´d been using the Nikon D3600 for a few years and was quite happy with it. I used an accessory to transfer photos from the camera to my phone. When the D5600 came out, with the in-phone capability to wirelessly transfer photos I knew I could use one. It just took me a little while to get the bucks together to get one.

Love the beautiful pictures and the capability to do great video. Nice to transfer the pictures over WiFi.
Like how it is also more compact.

    Awesome intermediate camera!

    Posted by JimmyFlame77 on November 24, 2019

Although this can be a great camera for beginners to learn on, the D5600 is not necessarily going to be the camera for every beginner. Sure, there´s a point-and-shoot automatic mode, but that´s not why you buy a D5600. Its color capturing and low light shooting capabilities are similar, at least to the naked eye, to its mirrorless counterparts. But to achieve those kinds of results requires a bit of knowledge on how this camera works specifically, not just photography in general. The D5600 is my trusty go to, and I absolutely LOVE this camera. Pair it w/ the Nikkkor 35mm lens or others, even the kit lens, and the D5600 will make your pictures sing.

I love it, just trying to learn how to use it to it´s fullest. This is my first DSRL so lots of new things to learn . It is a easy to use and I love the menu and touch screen. Lots of good extras with the kit. Great starter camera for my first DSRL

    Glad I made the change

    Posted by IrishLad53 on October 11, 2019

My first experience with a Nikon camera was the D80. I am far from an accomplished photographer, but I made an upgrade to the D5600 last month. I could not be more thrilled. The ease of use, wi-fi, blue tooth, special effects, the display screen has been more than I could have hoped for. I still have a lot to learn, but so far I am thrilled

    An Excelent Camera

Hi! I upgraded from a D3200 , and I find that the D5600, is a superior camera, and with bluetooth and Wi-Fi; I can transfer all may photos instantly to my phone. I recently went to an indoor auto show/exhibition and took 166 beautiful photos. An excellent camera for beginning and experience photographers.

I am totally new to photography but this camera has proven to be really good for me. You can easily take some awesome shots even with the kit lenses.

Perfect for the Beginner and Intermediate

Posted by TheJargonaut on August 12, 2019

I am a hobbyist just looking for some relaxing time getting out and taking nature photos. I purchased the D5600 and have enjoyed it completely. The flexible screen allows me to get the camera into areas that I normally would not put my head and see the focus and composition. I purchased mine with two kit lenses and they both are very good at their jobs, but the bug has hit and I have purchased more Nikkor lenses. Personally, I believe that this is a great camera to start out with and to learn photography before getting one of the new full frame cameras. Give it a try. It is much better than your phone.

Two reasons to buy this excellent camera

Posted by Nikonhal on August 4, 2019

First, if you need only a camera to make consistently superb pictures without difficulty , then buy this camera and the kit lens, put it on Auto mode and enjoy the great results. After that, explore the Scene mode for specific conditions and marvel at the images.
Second, if you want to expand your photographic skills, then the D5600 will carry you to the level where the next step will be the Full Frame Z series at its cost level. A serious photographer can produce seriously excellent images with skill, planning effort and a D5600.
