I was overdue to replace my 14 year old Pinseeker 1500 Slope Edition and am glad I waited long enough to purchase the Coolshot Pro Stabilized. The price may be on the high end but the features are well worth it. The stabilization technology works great to quickly shoot the intended targets. The speed, accuracy, 6x magnification, display clarity, size and light weight all make it a joy to use. Not surprising the weight with battery (6.5 oz) is almost half of the one it replaced (12.3 oz). The included case is a little flimsy (basically, a lightly padded fabric "wrap/pocket" with magnetic closure and elastic sides). I was able to purchase mine with a second zippered "hard" case.
Originally I wasn't to keen on the white color but I have grown to love it especially since I have forgotten to grab the old all-black range finder multiple times when I couldn't see it in the dark golf cart storage areas at the end of the round.
