    Excellent protection

    They do as claimed. I use one on all of my lens. I shoot in environments where I deal with a lot of mud, dirt, dust and water spray and have found these filters to work great as a sacrificial lens.

    Properly designed

    I have 3 of these on various Nikkor lenses. It makes no sense to put a cheap filter with lower grade glass on a lens of Nikons quality. The Nikon filters have a thinner frame that allows me to mount the lens hood. The cheaper filters I have tried prevented the lens hood from mounting. Nikon filters protect my expensive lenses without having any effect on image quality and that is what they should do.

    Excellent filter for my AF-S DX 18-55 VR Lens.
    The build quality is very good. Thanks to its
    multi-coated glass which reduces flare.
