    I love my D5600 Nikon

Posted by BeatsCatcher on May 9, 2020

This is one of the Best Camera´s I have owned and seen. It has more features than I could ever use but will learn them all. I have to admit I enjoy taking it with me on trips just to get a chance to use it.

    Great first camera.

Posted by PhotographyNoob on April 27, 2020

I am new to photography and this was my first DSLR. I did a Udemy course on photography before purchasing so I was familiar with the basic concepts. I have to say I am in love with this camera and I am loving my new hobby.

    One great camera!

Posted by PlanoPhotog on April 3, 2020

I have been taking pictures since 1975 when I purchased a 35 mm camera at the BX on the base in Iceland. Considering what that camera could do with my new D5600 does is a comparison of Night and Day. The D5600 was purchased after days of research on the internet and the watching of videos on YouTube. I now know that I made an excellent purchase because my photos have gotten so much better! The software in this camera along with the touchscreen function and the large SD card support makes me almost look like I know what I am doing. And capturing the photos in a jpg file under the ´´Large´´ format with the 24mp sensor, how can I go wrong? Nikon has done a very good job of providing top notch hardware and top notch software. Once you purchase this product, the Nikon D5600, you will be glad that you did. I highly recommend this product to the people who want to step up from the otherwise point-and-shoot cameras. Thanks Nikon!

    Excellent investment!

    Posted by Bryansh91 on March 27, 2020

So, full disclosure, my last camera was the Nikon D100, so the D5600 seems lightyears ahead of that.

Pros: it´s like a pound lighter, has like 18 more megapixels, has a nifty touch screen that is like 3x the size of the D100´s non-touch screen. The auto focus with the included lens seems faster. You can set the ISO to 25600, whereas before I could only go up to 1000 or ´´High´´ with waaaaay more noise.

Cons: it doesn´t have the autofocus motor built into the body, so all of my older lenses I have to focus by hand (the new lens has a servo built into it for autofocus). Still totally worth the upgrade, I was wanting an excuse for new lenses anyway.

    Professional quality at consumer pricing

I´m impressed with the quality of images from this body and the ease of making changes to settings. The body is very light and user friendly. I´m very happy with my D5600 and recommend it to anyone who wants professional quality photos from a small package!

    Great camera

Posted by HobbyPhotographer on January 22, 2020

Great camera, and the extra lens that comes with it is a great buy, as well. I used a Nikon 1 camera (J3) for 6.5 years and was hopeful that there would be additional lenses released. After the Nikon 1 series was discontinued, I began looking at DSLR and found this camera. As a student in college, I can´t really afford to spend a lot of money on a camera, but was lucky to buy this on sale. I´ve taken several photos of my cat (100) and several along Lake Superior´s shoreline in the cold. The camera has handled the cold temperatures (in the 20s F) very well, and has been easier to learn and use than I thought. I haven´t tried to save my photos using the Bluetooth connection, so I can´t speak to that, but the 70-300mm lens not having VR has not been a problem for me. I would highly recommend this camera to someone who has a decent amount of photography experience who has used a camera with interchangeable lenses as the next step.

    A lightweight travel companion.

    Posted by JimKw46 on January 21, 2020

This has become my easy to carry travel alternative to my D7100 and heavier lenses. I never miss a shot when paired with the newer 18-55 zoom or the 35mm 1.8 prime.

    Excellent for the Money

Posted by Buck on January 8, 2020

Excellent camera. I used a 35mm F1.8 prime lens a few days ago for a family photo shoot in the park. The photos came out excellent needing very little corrections in post.

Photography is specifically about your eye...screw all the tech talk this is the purrrfect camera transitioning from phone to actually learning the craft. Get a battery grip and big lens so tourists give you respect
